Picture Identification Required for All Tests
Please make sure you bring an acceptable ID

Acceptable IDs are: a valid state driver's license, student ID or passport.
(Not accepted: check cashing cards, picture credit cards, Sam's cards, etc.)

Cost:

- Scheduled by 4:00 PM the prior business day: $15
- Walk-ins: $20

This charge is payable in cash or a check, payable to UGA.

There will be one free group exam offered to first time examinees.

Test availability:

The free group exam for Fall 2008 is scheduled for November 10, 2008 and will be administered in the Student Learning Center, room 101.

Tickets for the free group exam are available starting August 18, 2008 in the Testing Services lobby of Clark Howell Hall for first time test takers only.

You MUST stop by Clark Howell and get a ticket to be able to participate in the free group session!

You may come in Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
This test is NOT given after the last day of classes for the purposes of fulfilling a graduation requirement.
NOTE: this exam does NOT exempt any courses!

Test Length: 60 minutes.
Results: Your test results will be available the next Tuesday or Thursday morning after your test date. Your results will be mailed to your address as listed with the University in approximately ten days.
Summary: The Board of Regents requires that a student show a competency in both American and Georgia History in order to graduate from an institution in the University System of Georgia. This requirement can be met either by course work (see UGA Catalog) or by Advanced Placement testing.

The following courses are approved for the exemption of this exam.
(Note that this exam does NOT exempt any coursework, however!)
