UTS is open for limited in-person testing Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Appointments are required in advance. Please continue reading this page or navigate to the test-specific page for details.

TEAS exams are available to be proctored remotely. You may register for the exam at atitesting.com

You must register for these tests through the Standardized Testing company’s website. You will not be able to register at the testing site.

ACT Exams: The health and safety of students and test center staff remains our top priority as we continue to navigate testing amid COVID-19. Masks will continue to be required for examinees and test center staff.

All other exams: Face masks are optional but strongly encouraged for unvaccinated individuals.

All appointments must be booked through Prometric, UTS does not schedule Prometric exams.  Please visit prometric.com for the most current information or to schedule.  For questions regarding our Prometric Test Center you can email us at uts@uga.edu or call us in our Prometric test center at (706) 542-1376.

Placement Testing

It is recommended that you complete any necessary placement exams before your advising appointment. If you have questions about which placement exams you should take, please review the information on our website. Further questions can be directed to uts@uga.edu.

English

The English placement exam will be given remotely through UTS utilizing ELC Respondus Monitor.  Registration is now open through our website.

Math

Beginning August 10th, UTS will resume proctoring the paper-based, credit-bearing math placement exam. Registration is now open.  More info can be found here.

Foreign Language

Placement tests for Spanish and French are offered via ELC Respondus Monitor.  You can register for these exams via our website.

Other language placement exams can be taken in-person through UTS by appointment only. You can register for these exams via our website.

As the situation is constantly evolving, we are paying close attention to the guidance from state and federal officials, as well as testing companies. Our primary concern is the health and safety of our community. We will be posting updates as testing companies make announcements.
